Resverasyn is a synthetic, bio-identical trans-Resveratrol that has been micronized to maximize the bio-availability of the trans-Resveratrol. Micronization is a physical process that reduces the particle size of a compound and is frequently used to improve the bioavailability of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals that are non-polar and thus have poor water-solubility. Resverasyn is also free of the impurity emodin. Emodin is an impurity that is present in natural sources of resveratrol and is known to cause gastrointestinal problems with repeated exposure.
