Dr. Lawless holds a  Ph.D. in biology from the University of Kentucky and a B.S. in biology and chemistry from Western Kentucky University.  Subsequent to completion of his undergraduate degree, Patrick was employed as an analytical and research chemist with Chattem Chemicals, Inc., an active pharmacuetical ingredients manufacturer located in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Most recently, he served as the director of bioprospecting operations for Naprogenix, Inc., a plant-based drug discovery company, where he oversaw the collection and  pharmacological screening of approximately 1200 North American native plant species.  Dr. Lawless possesses a thorough knowledge of biologically active plant-derived compounds and utilizes this information to formulate extraordinary nutraceuticals and supplements for Biological Prospects' customers and clients.
